Statement: We’ve turned differences of opinion into personal battles. Identity politics is rising and many political “solutions” create an “us” and a “them,” harming some to benefit others. We’re divided and frustrated, yet no closer to solving our problems. In fact, they’re getting worse.

With empathy and compassion, we must recognize that There Is No Them, there’s only us, and we’re all in this together. Decisions we make as a community affect everyone. Together we can find and implement inclusive, effective, win-win policies and solutions to the interrelated issues of homelessness, addiction, property crime, and more. Join me.
